Eduardo Mendonça (LL.B., M.S.L, S.J.D., University of the State of Rio de Janeiro) is a legal practitioner since 2005, and a member of the National Commission of Constitutional Studies of the Brazilian Bar Association – Federal Council (Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil – Conselho Federal). He is also Professor of Constitutional Law and Digital Law at the graduate and undergraduate courses of UniCEUB, and has served as clerk at the Brazilian Supreme Federal Court.
Eduardo’s main areas of practice are Constitutional, Digital, Administrative, Regulatory, and Economic Law, in which he works both as a consultant and conducting litigation, with an emphasis on the Superior Courts, especially the Supreme Federal Court, the Superior Court of Justice and the Superior Electoral Court. He is the leader of our Digital Law team and has been working extensively in matters regarding regulation of new technologies and applications.
Eduardo has been consistently recognized as a leading lawyer in Brazil by a number of surveys and rankings, such as The Latin American Corporate Council Association (LACCA Approved), The Legal 500, and Leaders League.
Eduardo is the author of a book, “A Constitucionalização das Finanças Públicas no Brasil – Devido Processo Orçamentário e Democracia”, as well as several chapters and articles, both in specialized periodicals and in newspapers.
He speaks Portuguese (native), English and German (fluent), and has basic communication skills in Spanish.
